This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.This position is based in our Home Office in Sunderland, Vermont. Our Vermont location is a dog-friendly office, so you may have a few 4-legged office mates as well. Orvis Dogs at WorkThings you will be working on:Manage the implementation of short- and long-term strategic initiatives on behalf of business partners and assigned lines of businessOperate as liaison between creative team members and business partners, forming a strong working relationship between teamsProvide strategic direction and guidance to enable the realization of business objectivesManage and prioritize project workflow from scoping/briefing to final executionCommunicate scope, timing, and budget implications to team members and key stakeholders, developing contingency plans as neededFacilitate regular creative team status meetings and client meetings as requiredEffectively communicate relevant project information to managers, elevating issues as appropriateAssist in the creation, implementation, and training of processes and toolsPossess a thorough understanding of the creative department capabilitiesHold creative team accountable for deadlines, remove roadblocks; leverage creative resources to improve capacityManage special projects as neededHow we will measure success:Manage efficient processes that produce output on schedule, always looking for time efficiencyInvest in content with financial responsibility; hit budgets, look for opportunities for efficiencyWork with creative teams to create high quality content that is brand enhancing and commercially successfulSkills that will be important in this role:Extremely detailed oriented and organizedExceptional time management and problem-solving skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple, concurrent projects simultaneouslyHigh level of responsibility and energyQualifications we are looking for:3+ years of prior experience managing creative projectsKnowledge of creative and business tool such as InDesign, Photoshop, ExcelB.A./B.S. or equivalent professional experienceAbout OrvisIn 1856, Charles F.
